Denver, CO resident, Jacque Davis Winroth, 81, passed away Monday, January 10, 2011 at the Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, CO. Graveside service will be Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 2 PM at Parkview Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Jacque was born on November 21, 1929 to Dr. John P. and Gertrude Davis Winroth. He graduated from Northwestern University in Chicago, was a DeMolay awarded The Degree of Chevalier, and a member of the American Federation of Musicians. Traditional jazz and big band music were his passion. He was a jazz drummer and had his own entertainment agency that booked local and world renowned talent. Always having an entrepreneurial spirit, he pursued a variety of business interests and hobbies that included offering 10 day tours to Mexico during his college years, a stump grinding business, a marine business, selling rare coins and stamps, woodworking, antique automobile restoration, and graphic arts. He had a special interest to help handicapped people become independent and believed in striving to exceed your highest ambitions. Left to cherish his memories and sense of humor are two daughters and a son-in-law, Becki and Ray Garcia of Magnolia, Texas and Ronda Winroth of Lincoln; and granddaughters, Latoya and Brittani of Lincoln. He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, John Winroth.
