Jean K. Richardson

Former Hastings resident, Jean K. Richardson, died Monday, January 23, 2006 at the Kenesaw Haven Home, Kenesaw, NE. Private family services in Lincoln, NE. Visitation will be January 26, 2006 from 8 AM to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE. Mrs. Richardson was born June 7, 1918 to Derge and Lillian (Miller) Stump in Milford, NE. She married John D. Richardson, October 3, 1946 he died March 1997. In the 60's and 70's she commuted to Lincoln to care for her elderly parents. She was an active volunteer for the Golden Friendship Senior Center where she played in the Adams County Moon shiners Band. She moved to the Kensington in 2001 and then to Haven Home in 2005. She was a 50 year member of the First United Methodist Church, a member of the Acacia Chapter #39 order of Eastern Star, Hastings, Chapter of NARFE and Eagles Auxillary #592. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 sister Ruth, 1 brother Robert. Memorials may be given to the Golden Friendship Senior Center, % of Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, 505 N. Bellevue, Hastings, NE.
