At Our Alberding-Wilson Location. Harvard resident, Jerry Joe Martin, 63,died, Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at The Monarch in Lincoln, NE after a long struggle with Lewy Body Disease. Rosary will be Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 7 PM at the Alberding-Wilson Funeral Home, Harvard, NE. Services will be Friday, March 23, 2007 at 10:30 AM at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Father James Benton officiating. Burial will be in Harvard Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, March 22, 2007 from 12 noon till rosary time at the Alberding-Wilson Funeral Home, Harvard, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com Mr. Martin was born July 12, 1943 to Alva and Lorayne (Shull) Martin in Hartville, Missouri. He married Donna (Reddick) on February 20, 1982. He retired from Metz Baking Company in 1995. Jerrys passion was hunting, fishing, and his family. He is survived by, his wife Donna, 3 daughters, Bridget Martin of Kearney, NE, Tammy Martin of Hastings, NE, and Gina (Martin) Schwarz and husband Russ of Omaha, NE and 5 grandsons, Jace, Treyton, Brock, Zane and Carsen. 1 sister, Carolyn Dickerson and husband Jim of Kansas City, MO. 1 sister-in-law, Betty Martin of Mansfeild, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Avery and Doris Pomeroy, 1 brother Wayne Martin. Memorials may be made in memory of Jerry to the National Alzheimers Association (for Dementia Research), The Harvard Rest Haven, St. Josephs Catholic Church in Harvard or The Monarch in Lincoln, NE.
