Jerry Whitney

Always young at Heart, Jerry Whitney, of Hastings, passed away January 11, 2018. A memorial service will be at a later date when family and friends can come together in nicer weather. Condolences can be sent to his family at their place of residence 1023 West E Street Hastings, NE.

Jerry was united in marriage to Karren (Hanson) Whitney in August of 1970. The couple was blessed with three daughters; Renee of Nebraska, Sherri of Montana, Kaye of Kansas, and one grandson Evan of Montana.

Jerry was a long time employee of Western Land Roller/Ingersoll Rand/ Flowserve of Hastings. He held various positions and capacities; Jerry retired from there as a Traffic Coordinator.

His hobbies and passions were gunsmithing, machining, all things mechanical, and hunting filled his time with family and friends, generally with Western Country music in the background.

Jerry leaves behind his Mom; Lois, Wife; Karren, 1 brother Lyle, 3 daughters, 1 grandson and a large extended family that will miss him dearly.
