Judine Marie Stewart

Hastings resident, Jundine Marie (Webster) Stewart, 79, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare.



There will be no service at this time, Judy’s wishes were to be cremated. Apfel Funeral Home is in care of the family. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.apfelfuneralhome.com.



Memorials may be given to the YWCA, Hastings.



Judy was born February 8, 1940 to William and Gladys (Forsberg) Webster in Royal, NE. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1957. She attended Wayne State College receiving her bachelor’s degree in Education. Judy married David Jon Stewart in November 1963 in Hastings. She worked as a teacher for a few years then the YWCA as a volunteer coordinator for over 20 years.



She is survived by her husband David, children, Ann (Greg) Mays and Joe (Margaret) Stewart, four grandchildren, Zoe, Rider, Emma and Hayden Grace all of Hastings, one brother, Bill (Polly) Webster of Mankato, Minnesota and many nieces and nephews.



She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Bonnie Erickson.
