Kathryn Marie Moseman

Kathryn M. Moseman, 82, of Grand Island formerly of Wood River, died Friday, December



23, 2016, at Bryan East Medical Center in Lincoln.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Apfel

Funeral Home in Grand Island with the Rev. Kelly Karges officiating.



Burial will be in the Wood River Cemetery.



Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 28, 2016 until service time at

the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Trinity United Methodist Church or Central Community College, Nursing Program. Apfel Funeral Home is caring for the family.



Kathryn Marie Moseman was born February 5, 1934, at Wood River the daughter of Arthur

and Olga M. (Dellert) Mead. She grew up in Wood River, graduating from Wood River High School with the class of 1951. She graduated from Central Community College in the Nursing Program and later attended Kearney State College and the University of Nebraska to obtain her

Registered Nurse degree. She was employed at St. Francis Medical Center for 20 years and Good Samaritan for 11 years as the MDS Coordinator. She retired in 2006 from Good Samaritan.



She was united in marriage to Fred J. Hartman at Wood River. She later married Verne R. Moseman, August 23, 1981 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Grand Island.



She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Grand Island.



Those left to cherish her memory include two sons & daughters-in-law, Mike &

Kay Hartman of Tecumseh, Rick & Lynn Hartman of Beatrice, NE, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur & Olga Mead, her brother, Norman Mead, and her husband, Verne Moseman.
