Kent A. Houck

Campbell resident, Kent A. Houck, 52 passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Nebraska Heart Institute, Lincoln.



Memorial service will be Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 10 am in the Apfel Funeral Home Chapel, Hastings with Rev. Dr. Lee Wigert officiating. There will be no visitation his body was cremated. Burial will be in the Juniata Cemetery, Juniata. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.apfelfuneralhome.com. Apfel Funeral Home, Hastings is in charge of the arrangements.



Memorials may be given to the family.



Kent was born April 3, 1964 to Arnold M. and Barbara (Ericksen) Houck in Hastings. He graduated from the Adam Central High School in 1982 and he also attended Western NE Community College.



Kent enjoyed being outdoors, cooking, hunting and fishing and he loved fireworks.



He is survived by his mother Barbara of Juniata, two children, Kayla Houck of Lincoln and James Houck of Campbell, brother, Mike (Ruby) Houck of Bertrand, sister Dian (Terry) Larsen of Hastings, nieces and nephews, Hilary (Bob) Bradley, Zane Houck, Kelsey Larsen, Garret Larsen and Ethan (Becca) Larsen and aunts, 1 uncles and numerous cousins and his beloved dog, Miss T.



He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold (Arnie) M. Houck and grandparents.
