Kent was born on May 24, 1970 in Grand Island to William Edward Redwine and Beverly Arlene (Christensen) Redwine. He grew up in Grand Island and received his education at Northwest High School before going on to the College of Engineering at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
He was united in marriage to Adrienne Hodtwalker on July 13, 1991 in Grand Island, NE. To this union three sons were born. He lived most of his life in Grand Island where he was employed by The Diamond Engineering Company.
Kent loved exploring the world on two wheels, spending time in nature especially at the lake, and tinkering in the garage with cars and wood working. He was always playing jokes and laughing, bringing friends and family together.
He was very generous with his time and talents. He was a fantastic listener and mentor to those who needed it, coaching his children’s sports teams and teaching motorcycle safety courses for the community. He was incredibly patient and positive, always choosing to see the best in the people around him. He spent his time intentionally, always striving to learn and better himself and he never lived life in a hurry. He will always be remembered for his quick wit, selflessness, and love for his children.
