At our Jackson-Wilson Funeral Home location, Kenesaw, NE. Prosser resident, Larry D. Royston, 74, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, in Kearney, NE. Services will be Friday, January 22, 2010 at 10 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church in Juniata, NE with the Rev. Greg Volzke officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be Thursday, January 21, 2010 from 9 AM to 9 PM at the Jackson-Wilson Funeral Home, Kenesaw, NE. Condolances may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Larry was born September 11, 1935 to H.L. "Bud" and Ella M. (Schroeder) Royston in Juniata, NE. He went to Prosser School for 8 years. He farmed with his father for years and helped other local farmers. He worked at the Sa-Mill in Kenesaw, NE. He married Ruth Brittain on August 25, 1964 in Minden, NE. They lived in Prosser, NE until his death. He is survived by his wife Ruth of Prosser, NE, 2 children, Joe and wife Renee Royston of Doniphan, NE and Lisa Royston Skinner of Hastings, NE. 5 grandchildren, John and wife Jennifer Skinner of Hastings, NE, Jason Sipes of Wayne, NE, and Teresa and Elizabeth Royston of Doniphan, NE, 2 sisters, Lois Houp of Prosser, NE and Delores Young of Arlington, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Amy Ann Royston, a sister, Donna Royston and a brother Allen Royston. Memorials may be given to the family.
