Former 21 year Bladen resident, Lawrence Gustav Larry Lindhardt, 73, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2011 at the Harvard Rest Haven, Harvard; NE. Memorial service will be on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 10 AM at the Alberding-Wilson Funeral Home, Havard, NE with Dave Johnson officiating. Lawrence was born February 8, 1938 in Hastings, NE to Lawrence Lindhardt, Sr and Pansy Arlene Kinnison . He married JoAnn Harris on May 8, 1972 in Lincoln, NE. Those who knew Larry will remember his passion and love of genealogy, hunting and fishing. If you had ever met him you wouldnt have been able to pass him by without him telling you a joke or funny story. I bet God is hearing every story and joke as we speak. He is survived by his wife of 39 years JoAnn of Harvard, NE, two sons from a previous relationship, Lawrence Gene Shryock of Oklahoma, and Earl Leon (Lee) Nelson of Ord, NE, two daughters, Rebecca Ann (Lindhardt) Williamson of Hastings, NE and Melissa Allison (Lindhardt) Myer of Grand Island, NE, one sister Ruby Arlene (Lindhardt) Myers of Harvard, NE, one uncle Fred P Hesman of Blue Hill, NE and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and a nephew. Memorials may be given to the family.
