Lois E. Rasler

Kenesaw resident, Lois E. Rasler, 84 passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at her home. Services will be 10 am, Monday, October 28, 2013, at the Apfel Chapel, Kenesaw with Pastor Llgha Llunga officiating. Burial will be in the Westlawn Hillcreast Cemetery, Omaha, at 2 pm on Monday. Visitation will be Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 1 pm to 6 pm at the Apfel Funeral Home, Kenesaw. Apfel Funeral Home, Kenesaw is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be given to the family. Lois was born April 22, 1929 to Thomas Conrad and Andrea J. (Pedersen) Fastenau in Bertrand, NE. She attended grade school in Holdrege, she later received her GED. She married Shannon Rasler in Las Vegas, NV; he passed away September 18, 2000. Lois was a hostess and restaurant owner. She is survived by one sister, Donna Mathiasen of Omaha, three brothers, Herb Peterson of Fresno, CA, Stanley Fastenau of Willard, MO and Sterling (Rocky) Fastenau of Wymore, NE and one brother-in-law, Jack Rasler and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Shannon, one sister Wilma Bandy and three step-brothers Charles Peterson, Roland Peterson and Junior Peterson.
