Lois M. Anderson

Juniata resident Lois Marie Anderson, 94 passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings. Services will be Saturday, October 5, 2013, at 10:30 am at the Juniata Methodist Church, Juniata. Burial will be in the Juniata Cemetery. Apfel Funeral Home, Hastings is in charge of the arrangements. Lois was born August 9, 1919 to Herman L. and Grace M. (Canfield) Boge in Harvard, NE. She graduated from Hastings High School, Hastings. She married Carl Anderson, he preceded her in death on March 16, 2009. She and Carl enjoyed traveling after their retirement and she especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Juniata United Methodist Church and the Afternoon Circle. She is surived by three children, Tony Anderson and fiancee Loretta, Max Anderson and wife Lorrie all of Juniata, and Terry Gangwich and husband Ron of Council Bluffs, IA, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl, one sister Ghita Fulmer and one brother Alan Boge.
