Hastings resident, Lola A. Aulrich, 91, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the Harvard Rest Haven; Harvard, NE. Services will be Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 11 am at the First St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Hastings, NE with Rev. Joel Remmers officiating. Private family burial. Visitation will be Monday from 12 noon to 9 pm at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home and one hour prior to service time at the church. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Memorials may be given to the family or the Nebraska Childrens Home. Lola was born November 26, 1921 to Frank and Pearl (Kechely)With in Odell, NE, when Lola was 4 her family moved to Chester, NE. She graduated from the Chester High School in 1939. Moving to Hastings, NE she attended and graduated from the Mary Lanning School of Nursing. She married Harvey A. Aulrich on July 21, 1946. She worked for Dr. Egan until he retired then she stayed home to raise her family and help on the farm. After her children had grown she went back to work as an RN at Good Samaritan Village in Hastings, NE retiring in 1987 and she returned to the farm to help out. She was a member of the First St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Hastings, NE where she was a Sunday school teacher, a member of the WELCA Club and the County Extension Club. She is survived by two sons, Frank and wife Pam Aulrich of Juniata, NE and James and wife Duanna Aulrich of Hastings, NE, four grandchildren, Amy and Michael Wilson, Jordan Hargis, Kirsten Hargis and Jacynda Aulrich all of Hastings, NE three great grandchildren, Ethan, Addison and Kailyn Wilson all of Giltner, NE, two nephews, and a sister, Glenna With of Lincoln, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harvey, one sister Darlene and one brother Ivan.
