Lorita L Kelsey

Lorita L. Kelsey, 86 of Wood River, Nebraska died Thursday, December 4, 2014 at CHI Health Skilled Care in Grand Island.

To honor Lorita's wishes, her body was cremated. A private family Inurnment will be held at the Grand Island City Cemetery at a later date.

Lorita was born on November 29, 1928 in Shelton, Nebraska. She went to grade school in Shelton, and graduated from Shelton High School in 1946. After graduation, she married Earl M. Huff of Kearney, Nebraska. To this union, 2 sons were born.

Later she married Leonard Stoppkotte of Doniphan, Nebraska. To this union, 4 children were born. She later married Leroy Kelsey.

Lorita enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, ceramics, plastic crafts and also enjoyed her grand kids and great grandkids.

Her children who survived her are Tommy L. and Elaine Huff of Olathe, Kansas, Dennis and Leora Huff of Abilene, Texas, Rhonda Holt and Harold Hansen of Wood River, Nebraska whom Lorita lived with, Randall and Bonnie Stoppkotte of Alda, Nebraska, Lori and Thomas Garrison of Wilmington, North Carolina; also 16 grandchildren, 19 Great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 2 of her husbands, Leonard Stoppkotte and Leroy Kelsey; also a son, Ricky Stoppkotte.
