Kenesaw resident, Lucile J. Parker, 91, passed away Monday, October 07, 2013. Services will be Friday, October 11, 2013 at 10:30 am at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Kenesaw with Rev. Paul Duffy officiating. Burial will be in the Kenesaw Cemetery, Kenesaw. Visitation will be Thursday, October 10, 2013 from 9 am to 7 pm at the Apfel Funeral Home, Kenesaw. Apfel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be given to the Kenesaw Cemetery Association. Lucile was born January 28, 1922 to Henry and Josephine (Lammers) Wolfe in Trumbull, NE. She was baptized February 28, 1922 and confirmed May 26, 1935. She graduated from the Trumbull High School in 1939 and attended Kearney State College. She taught school in the Blue Hill Community. She moved to Kenesaw in 1939. She married Edwin Bittfield on February 14, 1943; he passed away July 5, 1974. She married Walter Katzberg on November 11, 1978; he passed away July 21, 1993. She moved to Juniata in 1978 and then back to Kenesaw in 1996. She married Donald Parker on April 27, 1996; he passed away May 24, 2003. She was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Bible Class and Ladies Aid all in Kenesaw, she was a past board member of the Red Cross for Adams County she was a member of the Kenesaw Legion Auxiliary and the Senior Citizen Group. She is survived by one daughter, Connie Bittfield and one son, Gary (Betty) Bittfield all of Kenesaw and one grandson Ben (Lindsay) Bittfield of Lenexa, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, Edwin, Walter and Donald, one brother Hubert Wolfe and one sister Florine Priebe.
