Luella A. Pichler, 94, of Norfolk, died Saturday November 11, 2017, at Heritage of Bel Air in Norfolk.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 20th at the Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Grand Island, NE.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. Monday until service time at the funeral home.
Luella was born April 5, 1923, at Bartlett, Nebraska to Charles and Clara (Delay) Dallegge. She grew up and attended school in Bartlett.
She married Harvey J. Pichler on July 3, 1939, at Bartlett. The couple made their home in Grand Island, where Luella worked at the Courtesy Courts for a number of years. They moved to Norfolk, Nebraska in 1975.
Luella enjoyed playing the piano, and after moving to Norfolk she played at local nursing facilities and occasionally the Norfolk Senior Center with the Elkhorn Fiddlers.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and had taught Sabbath School and enjoyed playing the music for the children.
Survivors include her brother, Dale Dallegge; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Sally; daughter-in-law, Donna (Pichler) Vyhildal; granddaughters, Kelly Nelson and husband Brian, Kari Washburn and husband Jeff, Rachel Pichler, Carol Rodgers; great-granddaughters, Addison and Peyton Washburn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, two brothers, and a sister.
