Luella C. Wynne

Hastings resident, Luella C. (Thaut) Wynne, 86, of 116 Village Terrace, GSV died Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at Saint Elizabeth Hospital; Lincoln NE. Services will be Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 10:30 AM, at the First St. Paul's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings, NE. Visitation will be Friday, April 28, 2006 from 9 AM to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home and up till service time at the church. Mrs. Wynne was born, October 4, 1919 to Jacob and Alice (Schreiner) Thaut in Hastings, NE. She graduated from Hastings Senior High in 1938. She worked for her father's poultry business her senior year. She then worked for Brach-Thompson Department Store in the gift wrap and mail room. She married Dennis Emmett Wynne, April 11, 1953, in Kenesaw, NE. They lived in Lincoln while her husband was ill and in the Veterans Hospital, after his illness they moved back to Hastings, he died May 3, 1967. She was a life long member of the First St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She is survived by, one son, Dennis Jr. of Juniata, NE, several nieces and nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by, her parents, her husband, 2 brothers Abe and Harold, 2 sisters, Emma Mae Beal and Maria Diefenbach. Memorials may be given to the family.
