Marilyn Katherine Mueller

Marilyn Katherine Mueller (née Spaulding) died unexpectedly in Grand Island, Nebraska on November 13, 2021 at the age of 64.



A celebration of life will be held at Full Circle Venue in Boarders Inn on November 21, 2021 at 4:00 pm at Grand Island, NE. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Marilyn’s life. Please dress casual. Memorials will be given to the family for designation later.



Marilyn was born on August 27, 1957 in Hastings, NE to Merlin and Phyllis Spaulding. She graduated from Doniphan High School in 1976. She married Lloyd Mueller 1981. After moving to Grand Island, Nebraska, Marilyn began working for St. Francis as a dietitian. Marilyn then worked for Watts Telemarketing as inbound operator. Then she worked for GP Express Airlines. Marilyn then became the director of Foster Grandparent Program. She then worked at Tommy’s Restaurant both as a waitress and hostess. She then had to retire due to declining health. Her children remember her as a loving kind person and mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals.



Marilyn was accomplished at making cards and crafts. She was a generous individual who loved having fun and who was passionate about being a friend to everyone she met. She was an active and dedicated member of the US JCI Senate and had friends from all over the world. She believed in the Jaycee Creed where service to humanity is the best work of live. She was also dedicated member of Destiny Church where she always had hugs and smiles for everyone she met.



Marilyn made sure that her life would live on by being an Organ Donor with Live on Nebraska.



Marilyn is survived by husband, Lloyd; children, Misti (Casey) Williams of Grand Island, NE, Eric (Amber) Edwards of Grand Island, NE Robert (Heather) Mueller of Milford, KS, Angela (special friend Steve Brott) Mueller of Wood River, NE, Christopher Mueller of Lincoln, NE, Cathy (Anthony) Bruha of Comstock, NE, siblings, Charles Spaulding of Medford, OR.. Grandchildren to remember Marilyn are Sydney and Owen Williams. Kya Lung, Kaden, Kenzi and Kean Edwards. Donnigan, Sean, and Grace Mueller. Mikey Mueller. Chris, Ashley and Jessica Bruha. Great-grand Child Liana Hart.



She is preceded in death by parents Merlin and Phyllis Spaulding of Doniphan, NE, sister Pauline (Dick) of California, Leo (Bill) Dewey of Grand Island.
