Hastings resident, Marilyn Kreutz, 74, died September 19, 2007 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, NE. Services will be Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Alan Davis officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings, NE. Visitation will be Monday, September 24, 2007 from 9 AM to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Hastings, NE, and one hour prior to service time at the church on Tuesday. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Marilyn was born June 7, 1933 to James and Emma (Larson) Sutherland in Elm Creek, NE. She attended Overton High School and later University of Nebraska Kearney. She taught school at David City and Hastings, NE and also rural school in Dawson County. She married Roger Kreutz August 17, 1958. She is survived by 2 sons, Russell and wife Kristin of Giltner, NE, and David and wife Adena of Aurora, NE. 1 sister, Neva Brindle of Hagerstown, Maryland. 2 brothers, Delmar Sutherland of St. Joseph, MO, and Donald Sutherland of Seward, NE. She was preceded in death by her husband Roger, her parents, 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church.
