Marjorie Ann McBride, 82, of Greeley, formerly of Grand Island, died Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Greeley Care Home in Greeley, Nebraska



Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 2, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Grand Island. The Reverend Adam Snoberger will be officiating. Interment will be 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Greeley Cemetery in Greeley, Nebraska.



Visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island. Memorials are suggested to the Greeley Care Home, Greeley, Nebraska.



Marjorie was born on October 21, 1932 in Greeley, Nebraska the daughter of Henry and Martha (Janssen) Liske. She attended the Greeley public school system.



She was united in marriage to Gilbert D. McBride on December 1, 1956 at Burwell, Nebraska. After which the couple resided in Grand Island where she was employed by Model Laundry and later McCain Foods. She remained there for 30 years and retired in 1998.



She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and playing cards. She also loved to travel.



Survivors include her step-sons, Dale (Barbara) McBride of Phillips, Donald (Kathy) McBride of of North Platte; step-daughters, Lucille Jacobson of Omaha, Rosemarie Lange of Lincoln; son-in-law, Dwight Christ of Alabama; 2 grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; 1 step-great-great grandchild; brothers, Harold (Karen) Liske of Omaha, Leo (Maxine) Liske of Grand Island; sisters, Arlene (Allan) Andreasen of Grand Island, Darlene Albright of Grand Island; sister-in-law, Donna Liske of Greeley; special sister, Sharon George of California.



Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Dianne Christ; brother, Don Liske; half-brothers, Eddie Liske, Raymond Liske, Elmer Liske; half-sister, Elsie Polinski; son-in-law, Randy Lange; brother-in-law, Earl Albright.
