Hastings resident, Marjorie P. Dalrymple, 82, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Mary Lanning Memorial HeathCare, Hastings.
Private family graveside service will be Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, with Pastor John Mueller officiating. There will be no visitation; Marjories wishes were to be cremated. Apfel Funeral Home, Hastings is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.apfelfuneralhome.com.

Marjorie was born November 11, 1933 to William and Irene (Nonnast) Woods in Ulysses, Kansas. She graduated from the Kingman High School in Kingman, Kansas in 1951. She married Floyd E. (Gene) Dalrymple in Kingman, Kansas on May 11, 1952, Floyd passed away on September 8, 2003. Marjorie was a bookkeeper and homemaker and retired in 1999.
She loved her family, crossword puzzles, gardening, camping. She was an avid Big Red Football fan.
She is survived by 6 daughters, Diana Dalrymple of Lincoln, Mary (Bruce) Wertz, Beaumont, TX, Terry Way of Lincoln, Christine Oliver of Hastings, Sharon Dalrymple of Lincoln and Karen (Bill) Northup of St. Paul, NE, 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, two nephews and many cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Floyd, one sister, Doris Smith and a nephew.
