Mark A. Armstrong

Kenesaw resident, Mark A. Armstrong, 49, passed away, Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare, Hastings. Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, November 25, 2013 at 10:30 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Kenesaw with Father Joseph Faulkner officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Book signing will be Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 1 pm to 8 pm at the Apfel Funeral Home, Kenesaw. Apfel Funeral Home, Kenesaw is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be given to the family. Mark was born February 7, 1964 to Stanley and Sandy (Turner) Armstrong in Hastings, NE. He graduated from Kenesaw High School in 1982. He enjoyed carpentry and race cars. He is survived by his parents, Stanley Armstrong of Kenesaw, and Sandy Denison of Miami, AZ, one son, Travis Armstrong of Hastings, one daughter, Shasta Armstrong of Hastings, one brother, Scott (Misty) Armstrong of Kenesaw, and his best friend and companion, Ray his boxer dog. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Orville and Fern Armstrong and Eldon Turner.
