Kenesaw resident Marlin C. Suck, 85, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare in Hastings Neb. Services are 10:00am Monday, July 11,2011at Kenesaw United Methodist in Kenesaw Neb with Rev. Stuart Davis officiating. Burial will be at the Kenesaw Cemetery. Visitation is 9am-9pm. on Saturday, July 9, 2011. and at noon to 6pm on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Jackson-Wilson Funeral Home in Kenesaw, Neb. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to be made to Kenesaw United Methodist in Kenesaw, Neb; or to the family. Condolences may be sent to family from www.brandwilson.com Marlin C. Suck was born Dec. 28, 1925, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Carl and Edna (Steuben) Suck. He attended country school in Scotia, Neb, till the 8th grade. He later joined the United States Army. While in the Army, on Feb. 3, 1945, he married Rita Hullinger. They were blessed with three children, Beverly, Marlene, and Randy. Following his time in the service, he began a farming operation in the Kenesaw area, and farmed until his retirement. Marlin was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Edna (Steuben) Suck; wife, Rita Hullinger Suck; son, Randy Suck; two brothers, and two sisters. He is survived by his daughters Beverly and Melvin Johnson of Hastings, Neb; Marlene Schantz of Denver, Col. seven grandchildren Michelle and Ernie of Lincoln, Neb.; Melinda and Todd Kral from Campbell, Neb.; Ashlee Schantz of Denver, Col.; Joslyn and Chris Uden of Prosser, Neb.; Stacy and Sumer Schantz of Arvada, Col.; Mikela Sickler of Kenesaw; and Jerron and Lindsay Suck of Kenesaw, Neb., and 16 great grandchildren.
