Martha C. Doyle

Hastings resident, Martha C. Doyle, 84, passed away, Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Perkins Pavilion, Good Samaritan Society, Hastings-Village.

Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 10:00 am at All Saints Chapel, Good Samaritan Society, Hastings with Father Joseph Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.apfelfuneralhome.com. Apfel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

A memorial will be established in Marthas name.

Martha was born June 15, 1930 to Archie H. and Margert C. (Fuquay) Rowe in Durham, North Carolina. She attended High School in Ft. Smith, VA and graduated in 1948 then attended college for two years. She worked as a CNA for the State of Nebraska. She had lived in the Hastings area for over 20 years also living in Ft. Smith, VA for 5 years and overseas due to her husbands military service.

She was a member of St. Cecilias Catholic Church, in Hastings.

She is survived by son, Thomas E. Doyle and spouse Debra of Hastings, daughter Susan L. Doyle of Pagosa, CO and one grandson Ned P. Byrd of Raleigh, NC, surrogate son and daughter, Jon and Sheryl Bevard of Hastings, surrogate grandchildren, Adam Barnhill, Jesse Barnhill, Christy Randone all of Hastings, surrogate great grandchildren, Austin Barnhill of Holdrege, Serenity Barnhill of Blue Hill, Emma Barnhill, Ella Barnhill, Lillian Barnhill all of Hastings, and close friends Ruth Kidwell and Mike and Jackie Finnell all of Hastings.

She was preceded in death of her parents, husband Carl I Doyle, infant sons Carl I. Doyle Jr and baby boy Doyle, one sister, Clara Mayo Benson and one brother Phillip Rowe.
