Mary Ann Bales

Mary Ann Bales, 76 of Shelton, beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on January 12, 2017.



Mary Ann is survived by her brother, John Norris; brother, Walter (Barb) Norris; brother, Don (Karla) Norris; brother, Greg (Kathy) Norris; brother, Jerry (Mary) Norris; sister, Connie (Fred) Gustin; sister, Christine (Joel) Simon; sister-in-law, Janice Norris; daughter, Elaine (Terry) Smith; son, Shane Bales; son, Dwain (Lisa) Bales; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.



She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Lois Norris and her brother, Raymond Norris



A rosary will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at 7p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Shelton. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. before the rosary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Shelton, with Fr. Andrew Heaslip officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery, Wood River. Memorial are suggested to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Shelton, NE. Apfel Funeral Home is caring for the family.
