Mary E. Haggerty-Padgett

Hastings resident, Mary E. Haggerty-Padgett, 84, of 1114 West 9th, died Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at Bryan LGH East, Lincoln; NE. Services will be Tuesday, May 30th, 2005 at 10:30 AM at the Brand-Wilson Chapel, Hastings, NE with the Rev. Frank Swinnea officiating. Burial at Cambridge Cemetery, Cambridge, NE. Visitation will be Sunday, May 28th and Monday, May 29th from 12 noon to 9 PM and up till service time Tuesday at the Chapel. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Mrs. Padgett was born, July 9th, 1921 to Archie B. and Lela (Dempster) Hayes in Springfield, MO. She married Chester Haggerty in 1942, he passed away in 1980. She then married Charlie Padgett in 1988 he died in 2005. Mrs. Padgett was a custodian at Hastings College retiring in 1988. She is survived by, 2 daughters, Eunice Newman of Hastings, NE and Terry Moses of Colorado Springs, CO. 5 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, and 17 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by, her husbands and one sister. Memorials may be given to the Kidney Dialysis Foundation.
