Hastings resident Matilda (Tillie) Weber, 102 of 931 East F Street died, Saturday, August 5, 2006 at Perkins Pavilion, Hastings, NE. Rosary and Mass will be, Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at 10 AM at the St. Michael(tm)s Catholic Church, Hastings, NE with Father Houlihan officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 8, 2006 from 9 AM to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilsonfh.com. Mrs. Weber was born, March 10, 1904 to Joseph and Carrie (Beiriger) Weber on a farm near Juniata, NE. She attended school at District #23 and Assumption Catholic School. On February 12, 1923 she married Henry (Rick) Weber at Assumption Catholic Church; he preceded her in death on April 19, 1964. She was a member of the St. Cecilia(tm)s and St. Michael(tm)s Catholic Churches. She was also a member of the St. Michael(tm)s Altar Society, the Catholic Daughters of the America(tm)s and Crosier Fathers Apostolate. She as a member of the Legion of Mary Auxiliary. She was a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a volunteer at the Golden Age Senior Center for over 25 years. She lived to see all 3 of her children, celebrate their 50th wedding anniversaries. She is survived by, 1 daughter, Alice Fox and husband Grant of Turlock, CA, 2 son(tm)s, Gerald Weber, and wife Volon of Holdrege, NE. and Gene Weber and wife Joanne of Hastings, NE, 10 grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, and 8 Great Great Grandchildren, 1 sister, Ann Theisen of Kenesaw, NE. She was preceded in death by, her husband, Henry, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Memorials may be given to the Hastings Catholic Schools.
