Melissa A. West

Melissa Ann West, 38, of Grand Island, died November 30, 2019, at home. Services will be held Monday, December 9, at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church with Pastor Sheri Lodel officiating. There will be no visitation.



Melissa was born September 25, 1981, in Grand Island to Ray and Jody (McMillan) West. She grew up in Grand Island and graduated from Grand Island Senior High. She was employed by Menards.



She is survived by her parents, her sister and brother-in-law Susan and Dale Miller, nieces Lily and Ava, uncle Dewey E. McMillan, Jr., special aunts Marsha and Kathy Kroeger, several other aunts, uncles, and cousins, and many friends.



Melissa was a kind and loving person. She loved all animals, especially her cats Mama Kitty and Beefcake.
