Michael Mark Snyder

Michael Mark Snyder, 50 of Grand Island died Saturday, at home after battling cancer for the past 5 years.



To honor Michaels wishes, his body was cremated. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.



Michael was born on September 24, 1966 in Hastings, Nebraska to Michael and Mari Ann (Weiler) Snyder. He grew up in Grand Island and graduated from Grand Island Senior High School. He attended college in Milford, Nebraska. He was employed by Standard Iron as a Forklift Operator. He was a member of the Platt-Duetsche Society. Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, and air boating. His greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his friends.



Survivors include his fianc, Bonnie Preisendorf; brothers, Chris Snyder and Richard Kinman; sister, Kelly Snyder; aunts and uncles, Nan and Jay Grawe, Joe and Jane Weiler, Bill Snyder, Marcia Chambers, Cris and Mike McElroy, and Pam Hubl; special friends, Rudy and Sharon Kruse, Kourtney Kruse, Kody Kruse, and Krystle Ferdinand; and numerous cousins.



Michael was preceded in death by his parents.
