Mike Selballoz

Hastings resident, Mike Selballoz, passed away Tuesday, Sept 19, 2017 in Hastings, NE.



Mike was born August 5, 1927 to Visente & Lenora Seballoz in Belleville, Kansas.



He was a beloved husband; stepfather, grandfather & great grandfather joined his wife of 54 years, Nina. Together they raised 2 daughters, Leona Fearn & Rosie Andrews & helped care for 6 grandchildren. They were preceded in death by two daughters & a grandson, Mark Fearn & Mike's brothers, Raymond, Tommy, Joe, & sisters Ruby, Lena, Alberta & Mary. They are survived by grandchildren Tandy Fearn Willingham, Zalene Fearn Gayer, Kurt Fearn, Lindy Andrews Chandler & Bobbie Andrews & their children & grandchildren & Mike's sisters Margaret King & Martha Ock. Mike served in the Navy during the Korean War on the USS Douglas Fox.

After marrying Nina he tried his hand at several things before starting his own successful pest control business. Nina helped with office management & Rosie even worked with him on a route for a few years.

Outgoing & cheerful he made many friends & would enjoy morning coffee with them at the nearest McDonalds.

The short time he spent at Country House in Kearney he made more friends, enjoyed field trips & bible studies.

He will be missed.
