Hastings resident, Nadine Pease, 97 died Thursday, October 25, 2007 at Perkins Pavilion, GSV, Hastings, NE. Services will be Friday, November 2, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church, Hastings, NE with Rev. Alan W. Davis officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE. Visitation will be Thursday, November 1, 2007 from 9 AM to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE and 1 hour prior to service time at the church. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Nadine was born, November 21, 1909 to Phillip and Wilda (Dudley) Mercier in Oak, NE. She graduated from Nelson High School, Nelson, NE. She was a telephone operator in Nelson, NE. She married George E. Pease. In 1939 she moved to Hastings. She was a one time owner of Jeri's Uniform Shop in Hastings, NE and was also a long time employee there. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Eagles Aerie 592, Elks and Southern Hills Country Club all in Hastings, NE. She is survived by 1 granddaughter, Rene Hentz and husband Joseph of Jenkintown, PA and 1 grandson, Cory Smathers and wife Shawn Stokes of Lincoln, NE and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by, her husband, 1 daughter, Jerre Woelfle, her parents, 1 sister, and 5 brothers. A memorial will be established at a later date.
