Nancy E. Hersh

Former Kenesaw resident, Nancy E. Hersh, 74, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Perkins Pavilion, Good Samaritan Society, Hastings Village.



Services will be Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 2 pm at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Kenesaw with Rev. Paul Duffy officiating. Burial will be in Kenesaw Cemetery. There will be no visitation; Nancys wishes were to be cremated. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.apfelfuneralhome.com. Apfel Funeral Home, Kenesaw is in charge of the arrangements.



Memorials may be given to St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Kenesaw or the Kenesaw Fire Department.



Nancy was born July 18, 1940 to Paul C. and Helen C. (Nick) Peterson, in Lindstrom, MN. She attended High School in Milwaukie, OR graduating in 1958. She attended Beauty School graduating in 1969. She married Larry D. Hersh on February 25, 1959 in Milwaukie, OR. She was a hairdresser/stylist in Kenesaw for many years retiring in 1998.



She was a member of the St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Kenesaw and the Kenesaw Red Hat Ladies. She loved to sew and make quilts.



She is survived by her husband Larry, daughter, Cindy Hersh and son Terry Hersh all of Hastings, one sister, Judy (Dick) Busse of Portland, OR and one brother, Vernon (Sue) Peterson of California and nieces and nephews.



She was preceded in death by her parents.
