Nancy Marie Marsh

Nancy M. Marsh, 74, of Doniphan, Nebraska died Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at her home.



Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Chapel Apfel Funeral Home, Grand Island, NE with Derek Apfel, CFC officiating. Visitation hours will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2016 at the Apfel Funeral Home, Grand Island. Burial will be in Cedarview Cemetery, Doniphan. Memorials are suggested to Doniphan Quick Response Team, Doniphan. Apfel Funeral Home is caring for the family.



Nancy Marie Marsh was born March 7, 1942 at Hampton, Nebraska the daughter of Francis & Louise (Scheumann) Decker. She received her education from Grand Island Senior High.



She was united in marriage to Roger L. Marsh, December 1, 1966 at Grand Island, Nebraska. The couple lived in Drayton, N.D. where Roger worked for the American Crystal Sugar Company. In March of 1974 the couple returned to rural Doniphan, where the couple farmed.

Roger preceded her in death, October 16, 2000.



She was a member of Doniphan United Methodist Church.



Those left to cherish her memory include a daughter & son-in-law, Melissa & Greg Peters, of Hastings, two grandchildren, Amanda & Tristan Vetter of Omaha, NE, Andrew Peters of Hastings, sister, Marge Pittman of St. Paul and her beloved cat, Jynx along with numerous nieces & nephews.



She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roger L. Marsh and a brother, Richard Decker,
