Patricia (Fowler) Wampole, 60, of Wood River, died Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Bryan Medical Center East in Lincoln.

Services will be held on Tuesday, August 4 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Wood River with Pastor Brad Jepson officiating. There will be no visitation. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services at the church. Inurnment will be at the Wood River Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family.

Ms. Wampole was born on January 4, 1955 in Batavia, NY to Cedric C. and Arthena J. (Kidd) Fowler. She grew up in Batavia and graduated from Pembrook High School in 1973. She married Brent Paulk in 1974 and moved to Wood River in the mid-1970s.

She had worked at Travel Centers of America in Alda for over 30 years. She enjoyed cooking, doing crosswords and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Jared Paulk and his fianc, Sarah Svoboda, of Bruning, Jason Paulk and wife, Michelle, of Lincoln and Justin Paulk and wife, Brenda, of Wood River. One brother, Dan Fowler of Machias, NY. Six grandchildren, Kiernan, Hannah, Caleb, Lainey, Caitlin and Skylar. Also survived by half-siblings and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, her parents and two brothers, Richard Fowler and Michael Fowler.
