Patty E. Plum

Former Hastings resident, Patty E. Plum, 77, passed away February 20, 2017 at the Utica Community Care, Utica, NE.

Services will be Monday, February 27, 2017 at 1 pm at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Harvey officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Book signing will be Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Apfel Funeral Home, Hastings with family present. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.apfelfuneralhome.com. Apfel Funeral Home, Hastings is in charge of the arrangements.

Memorials may be given to the family.

Patty was born January 18, 1940 to Floyd E. and Florence E. (Drawbaugh) Moore in Grand Island, NE. She was homeschooled and graduated. She married Donald Plum on October 27, 1972, Donald passed away October 13, 2012. She worked in the Deputy Treasurers Office in Hastings.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hastings and the Eastern Star.

She is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Stueck and fiancee Michael Smith, 4 grandchildren, Chauntel Stueck, Isabella Hardin, Katilynn Smith and Remington Smith, nieces and nephews, Terry (Dian) Larsen, Kelsey Larsen, Garret Larsen and Ethan Larsen, Sally Peck, Shaun Peck and Scott Peck.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald and sister, Betty Larsen.
