Hastings resident Paul F. Schuldt, 92 died Thursday, February 21, 2008 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, NE. Services will be Monday, February 25, 2008 at 2 PM at the Brand-Wilson Chapel, Hastings, NE with Rev. Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service time in the chapel at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home and Cremation, Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Paul was born, May 6, 1915 to Rev. Frederick Christian Theodore and Caroline Henrietta Emelie (Berhenke) Schuldt in Fremont, NE. He had lived in the Hastings area since 1926 coming from Fontanelle, NE. He graduated from Hastings High School; he attended Midland College, in Fremont, NE. He served in the Army during WWII. Paul married Mary Jane Johnson on Jan.24, 1943. He was a custodian for Hastings Public Schools retiring from Longfellow School. He was a member of the First St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Hastings, NE. His father was a former minister at First St. Pauls Lutheran Church. He is survived by his daughter Miryam Ariel of Hastings, NE and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane, January 8, 1985, his parents, a sister, Marie Andersoon, brother Rev. Theodore J. C. Schuldt and infant brother Frederick. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the First St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Hastings, NE.
