Phyllis Anne Rottiger

Phyllis A. Rottiger, 87, of Grand Island died Friday, July 19, 201, at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island. Graveside services will be on Thursday, July 25, 2013, at 10 am at the Grand Island City Cemetery with Rev. Bob Rhodes officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to the donors choice. Apfel Funeral Home is serving the family. Phyllis was born on October 2, 1925, at Grand Island, the daughter of Floyd and Jeannette (McLellan) Leiser. She graduated from Grand Island Senior High School in 1942. Phyllis was united in marriage to Mervyn C. Rottiger on February 12, 1944 at Grand Island. The couple made their home in Grand Island where Phyllis worked at First National Bank for several years. Phyllis was a member of the Rialto Eastern Star, having served as Worthy Matron in 1978 and Deputy Grand Matron in 1986. Survivors include her brother, Floyd D. Leiser of Grand Island and sister, Helen Young of Grand Island. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one sister, Alice Wiegel and two brothers George Leiser and Keith Leiser.
