Randel Dean Mcmickell

Omaha resident, Randel Dean McMickell, 52, passed away, Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Mary Lanning Memorial Health Care, Hastings, NE. Private family graveside service will be Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 2 PM at the Stockton Cemetery, in Stockton, KS with the Rev. Les Ellis officiating. Randel was born July 7, 1959 to Robert J. and Patsy (Young) McMickell in Manhatten, KS. He graduated from Ralston High School in 1977; he was active on the wrestling squad. He loved music and night life. He is survived by his father Robert J. McMickell of Gravois Mills, MO, two sisters, Brenda Novich and husband Joe of Hastings, NE, and Linda Anderson and husband Matt of Gretna, NE, and two brothers, Richard and wife Ann of Hastings, NE and Robert Jr. of Omaha, NE, and one Aunt Carolyn Bice of Milan, MI, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother. Memorials may be given to the Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital Foundation, Hastings, NE.
