At our Alberding-Wilson Funeral Home, Harvard, NE location. Longview, TX resident, Retta Mae Hachtel, 73 passed away Friday, June 11, 2010 at the Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview, TX. Graveside service will be Saturday, June19, 2010 at 10 AM at the Evangelical Cemetery, north of Harvard, NE with the Rev. Russ Dudrey officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before the graveside service at the Alberding-Wilson Funeral Home, Harvard, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Retta was born on April 17, 1937 in Burley, Idaho. She loved her friends and never met a stranger. She loved to cook from scratch and was an incredible seamstress. She was a devoted Christian and a proud member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Longview, TX. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Robert Hachtel of Longview, TX; daughter and son-in-law Debra and David Jolly of Longview, TX; son Darren Hachtel of Italy, TX. 3 grandchildren Zachary Myers and Dawson Hachtel; three sisters; numerous nieces and nephews.
