Hastings resident, Reuben Juggert, 82, died, July 31, 2007 at his home, 2625 West 8th, Hastings, NE. Services will be Saturday, August 4th, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the First St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Hastings, NE with the Rev. Adam White officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 3rd, 2007 from 9 AM to 9 PM with family present from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home and Cremation Service and 1 hour prior to service time at the church. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Mr. Juggert was born, June 8, 1925 to Henry and Elizabeth (Miller) Juggert in Hastings, NE. He served in the US Navy from October 2, 1943 to March 25, 1946. `He married Donna Marie Schlachter on September 5, 1948 at the First St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Hastings, NE. He worked 21 years as a foreman for Weyerhauser, 12 years for Western Land Roller and has been retired for 20 years. He was a member of the First St. Pauls Lutheran Church. He pitched fast pitch softball for 15 years in the Hastings City League. He played Hastings American Legion Baseball and coached Little League Baseball. He loved his family, sports and fishing. He is survived by, his wife Donna, of Hastings, NE, 1 daughter, Connie McFadden and husband Dick, of Loup City, NE and 1 son, Jerry Juggert and wife Vickie of Omaha, NE, 4 grandchildren, Doug McFadden and wife Andrea of Lincoln, NE, Christa Oliva and husband Josh of Denver, CO, Jennifer Kolar and husband Jeremy and Brent Juggert all of Omaha, NE. 6 Great Grandchildren, Kailee, Jaycee and Kynzee McFadden of Lincoln, NE, Madelyn and Reese Kolar of Omaha, NE and Ava Oliva of Denver, CO. 4 sisters, Esther Meyer of Hastings, NE, Phyllis Wathen and husband Paul of Hastings, NE, Pauline Hull of Colorado Springs, CO, and Helen Parker of Anaheim, CA, 1 sister-in-law, Alma Juggert of Hastings, NE. He was preceded in death by, his parents, 4 brothers, Carl, Ray, Fred and Clarence Juggert, 2 sisters Edna Thavenat and Martha Ostebuhr, and 1 great grandson, Austyn Lee McFadden. Memorials may be given to family.
