Robert "Bob" Streeter

Robert “Bob” W. Streeter, 76, of Grand Island died Sunday, August 19, 2018, at CHI St. Francis Medical Center. Funeral service will be 11 AM Friday, August 24, 2018, at Apfel Funeral Home with Pastor Cathryn Love officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date. Bob was born November18, 1941, in Norfolk, NE, the son of Bill and Hazel (Leu) Streeter. He grew up in Norfolk and Battle Creek, NE. On September 27, 1963, Bob was united in marriage to Judy Ann Coughtry in Norfolk, NE. The couple resided in Battle Creek, Norfolk, and Newman Grove, NE, Glasgow, MT, and Fredericksburg, TX. They moved to Grand Island in 1990, where they remained. He was employed as a truck driver, forklift operator, farm laborer, and janitor.

Bob enjoyed watching NASCAR, bird watching, attending drag races, driving MOPARs, and collecting aluminum cans.

Survivors include daughters: Robyn Streeter (Terry Wilbur) of Grand Island, NE, Jackie (Alonso) Castillo of Fredericksburg, TX, Holly Barrientes of Johnson City, TX, Roschel (Gayle) Sellin of Plainview, NE; son: Robert L. (Andrea) Streeter of Kearney, NE; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; brother: Terry Streeter of Scottsbluff, NE, sisters: Linda Paulsen, Aurel Bernhardt both of Norfolk, NE, Mary Weldon of Fremont, NE; and his cat Bingo.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Judy in 2015; brother: Lee Streeter; sister: Janice Logg; son-in-law: Richard Barrientes; and infant daughter.
