Robert John Ellis Iii

Carleton resident, Robert John Ellis III, 83 died Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at the Blue Valley Lutheran Home in Hebron, NE. Services will be at a later date. Mr. Ellis was born September 19, 1923 to Robert John, II, and Viola Ruth (King) Ellis in Independence, MO. He graduated from NE High School in Kansas City, MO. He attened 1 year of College at Kansas State University. He married Norma Lee Ellis in 1946 she passed away in 1998. He was in the military from February 15, 1946 to October 19, 1947 serving in the Army during WWII. He moved frequently and worked for the railroad for 32 years, retiring as the station agent in Carleton, NE. He was a member of the American Legion in Carleton, NE. He is survived by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Norma. Memorials may be given to the family.
