Robin R. Plummer

Robin R. Plummer, 62 of Grand Island, died Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at CHI Health, St. Francis, Grand Island.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 19, 2015 from the Apfel Funeral Home, Grand Island with Derek Apfel CFC officiating. Burial will be in Sutton Cemetery, Sutton, NE. Visitation hours will be 5-7 Friday, December 18, 2015 from the Apfel Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the family. Apfel Funeral Home is caring for the family.

Robin R. Plummer was born July 20, 1953 in Holdrege, Nebraska the daughter of Robert & Arlene (Carlson) Atwood. She grew up in Holdrege and Hastings area receiving her education from Bellevue West High school graduating with the class of 1971. She received her RN degree in Nursing from Mary Lanning School of Nursing in Hastings in 1974.

She was united in marriage to Lynn A. Plummer, March 27, 1987 in Grand Island, Nebraska. The couple made their home in Grand Island where she was employed by Golden Living Center, Lakeview Nursing Home as a RN. She was preceded in by her husband, Lynn Plummer, July 9, 2003

She enjoyed her grandchildren, along with collecting antiques, reading and crocheting.

Those left to cherish her memory include one son & daughter-in-law, Brett & Becky Darrough of Grand Island, two daughters, Brooke Sautter and special friend, Chris Nelson of Grand Island, Bethany Darrough and special friend, Michael Gagas of Jacksonville, Florida, four grandchildren, Zachary Darrough, Kayla Darrough, Madisyn Darrough, Aiden Darrough.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Lynn.
