Roger D. Thompson

Harvard resident, Roger D. Thompson, 78 passed away, Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare, Hastings.

There will be no service or visitation. Rogers wishes were to be cremated.

Memorials may be given to the family.

Roger was born August 25, 1938 to Charles L. and Ethel (DeLeon) in Plain City, Ohio. He graduated high school in 1955 in Ohio. Roger served in the United States Army Airforce from September 1, 1955 to September 1, 1960 during the Korean Conflict. He married Donna (Reisen) on December 2, 1989 at the Good Samaritan Chapel, Hastings. He worked at Hastings Industries in Hastings and the City of Harvard retiring in 2015.

Roger is survived by his wife, Donna, four children, Roger Thompson, Connie Roberts, Russell Thompson and Christina Thompson and three step children, Terry Richardson, Ren Richardson and family and Dede Foote and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and one sister.
