Roger W. Augustin

Kenesaw resident, Roger W. Augustin, 71, passed away January 27, 2015 at his home.



Memorial services will be Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 10 am at the Christ Lutheran Church in rural Juniata, with Rev. Greg Volzke officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Book signing will be Friday, January 30, 2015 from 4 pm to 8 pm at the Apfel Funeral Home, Kenesaw. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.apfelfuneralhome.com. Apfel Funeral Home, Kenesaw is in charge of the arrangements.



Memorials may be given to the family.



Roger was born February 8, 1943 to Lloyd and Virginia (Wheeler) Augustin in Hastings. Roger was self-employed as a dirt contractor. He had also worked as a farmer and trucker, he enjoyed being behind the wheel. He was in the National Guard.



He enjoyed his grandchildren and the time he could spend with them. He loved to work and keep busy.



He is survived by two sons, Shon Augustin (Janice Ward) and Ashley (Lori) Augustin both of Kenesaw, four grandchildren, Dusty, Rhett, Archie and Lexi Augustin and one sister, Lanetta Krull of Minden.



He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter Andrea.
