Roma Kay Alberts, 74 of Largo, FL, formerly of Grand Island died Wednesday, July 29, 2015 in Clearwater, FL.

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2015 from the Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island, Nebraska. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Grand Island. Visitation hours will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from the Apfel Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Apfel Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Roma Kay Alberts was born June 18, 1941 in Grand Island, Nebraska the daughter of William & Marguerite (Williams) Castor. She grew up in Grand Island where she received her education, graduating from Grand Island Senior High.

She was united in marriage to Gary Lee Alberts, June 20, 1970 in Omaha, Nebraska. The couple made their home in Largo, FL where she retired from RP Scherer West Company as a supervisor.

She enjoyed oil painting flowers, landscapes, ocean scenes and portraits, along with clay sculpting dolls, water colors, knitting, crocheting and all types of arts and crafts.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons & daughters-in-law, Richard Razey Sr. of Grand Island, Job & Lelia Razey of Eagle, Nebraska, Tony & Janice Alberts of Cabool, MO, Chet Razey of Largo, FL., two daughters & son-in-law, Karen & Bob Johnson of Lincoln, NE and Carrina Alberts of Largo, FL, 11 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one brother & sister-in-law, Chet & Donna Castor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gary Alberts, son, Mark Razey, sister, Carol Crow and brother, Bill Castor.
