Services will be Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 10:30 AM at the Harvard United Church of Christ, Harvard, NE with the Rev. Dave Johnson officiating. Graveside will be at 3 PM at the Spalding Cemetery, Spalding, NE. Visitation will be Monday, June 8, 2009 from 5 PM to 9 PM with family present 6-8 p.m. at the Alberding-Wilson Funeral Home, Harvard, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Ronald was born January 4, 1948 to Ed and Audrey (Smith) Crosby in Spalding, NE. He came to Harvard from Spalding, NE in 1975. He was the administrator for the Harvard Rest Haven, Harvard, NE for 30 years. He was a member of the Harvard Volunteer Fire Department for many years. He is survived by 1 daughter, Krista Crosby of Omaha, NE, 2 step-daughters, Jill Chaney and Anthony Wetherell and Kasi Chaney all of Harvard, NE 6 grandchildren, Tiya, Jadyn, and Brayten Capps, and Phoenix, Cyrus and Kyra Wetherell, 2 sisters, Jan Hinze of Woodbine, Iowa and Phyllis Scott of Osceola, NE. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Janice, and an infant sister Shirley. Memorials may be given to the family.
