Rosilyn D. Kaiser

Hastings resident, Rosilyn D. Kaiser, 67 passed away Monday, December 30, 2013 at her home.



Services will be Friday, January 3, 2014 at 2 pm at the Apfel Funeral Home Chapel, Hastings with Rev. Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Visitation will be Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Apfel Funeral Home Chapel, Hastings. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.apfelfuneralhome.com.

Rosilyn was born March 11, 1946 to Jack and Sophia (Saatmann) Jacobs in Friend, NE. She graduated from Ohiowa High School in Ohiowa, NE in 1964. She married Michael H. Kaiser on September 13, 1965 in Smith Center, KS. She worked for Dutton Lainson in Hastings for 15 years and retired from Thermo King in 2008.



She is survived by her husband Michael, of Hastings, her mother Sophia E. Jacobs of Ohiowa, daughter, Michele D. Martin and husband Dale of Fairfield, son Michael J. Kaiser and wife Tracey of Hastings, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, brother, Jack Jacobs and wife Sharon of Geneva, Sister-In-Law, Beverly Bruning and husband Dennis of Hastings and Brother-in-Law, Danny Kaiser and wife Ruth of Hastings, and many nieces and nephews and her loving dog Pixie.



She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved summer time and gardening.



She was preceded in death by her father Jack and grandparents.
