Ruth "'Ann'" Ann Fritch

Ruth Ann Fritch, 76, of Santa Maria, CA, formerly of Wood River, died Saturday, October 1, 2016 in Santa Maria, CA.



Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2016 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Wood River with the Rev. Tom Ryan officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Wood River. Memorials are suggested to St. Marys Catholic Church in Wood River. Apfel Funeral Home is caring for the family.



Ruth Ann Davis Fritch was born the 10th child of Charles and Ruth Davis on April 6, 1940 in Wood River, NE. Ann grew up in Wood River, graduating from Wood River High with the class of 1957. She was united in marriage to Chuck Cordial of which he preceded her in death in California. She later married Frank Fritch in California. He recently died shortly after her death. She was employed by International for 18 years.



She was always concerned about her family in Nebraska and enjoyed her time with them while back visiting.



Survivors include her husband, Frank Fritch of California, three sisters & brother-in-law, Kay & Chuck McGowan of Grand Island, Dorothy Biamont of Portland, OR, Betty Stutzman of Omaha, one brother & sister-in-law, Bill & Carol Davis of Phoenix, AZ



She was preceded in death by her siblings, Audrey, Loretta, Jack, Jean, Pat, Jim.
