Hastings resident, Sandra Martinez, 68 passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 at her home. Graveside service will be Monday, August 29, 2011 at 2 PM at the Eaton Cemetery, near Heartwell, NE with Rev. Joel Remmers officiating. There will be no book signing or visitation her remains were cremated. Arrangements by the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Sandra Martinez was born March 24, 1943, to Cyrus and Josephine (Torske) McPherson in Heartwell, Nebraska. She was married to Armando Martinez. Sandra worked for many years at Good Samaritan Village in Hastings, Nebraska. She is survived by one son, Aaron Martinez, and three daughters, Dee Toms, Dannette Keifer, and Jennifer Long all of Hastings, NE, 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Anita Pettit of Hastings, NE and Carol Mulford of Pocatello, Idaho; She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Armando, and one daughter, Tiffanie Hess . Memorials may be given to the family.
